Up Before Dawn
Yesterday, David, Samuel, Rebekah and I all got up before dawn, got dressed, did chores, had breakfast, and took the sleds out...or snow machines as we Alaskans say, before everyone went Skiing the rest of the day.
You know, there is nothing like being out there, with the sun coming up, and the wind in your face on these monstrous machines (except doing the same on a horse)....Just takes your breath away, and shows you a glimpse of God's magnificent Glory!!!

ReplyDeleteNope, they're taken about 45 minutes from here, and looking west on our property.
Your fellow Alaskan is doing great, by God's grace!! Had my first 'strenuous' activity in 6 weeks yesterday-walking 2 miles & then trampolining for over an hour afterwards!! That was great!
God has been so faithful, and it is really nice to be able to have some energy back...slowly but surely!!
Not able to chew yet...not supposed to for another 4 weeks...good thing too... :p (not that I have tried at all. ;O lol)
