A Day With the Ruselers!!!

This morning, I went to the Ruseler's home, to ultrasound Jordan's goats (all of which are VERY pregnant), & Katie their dog; as well as talk about packing & vaccine plans. We also started studying/learning the Filipino/Cebuano language.

We are currently using MyLanguages.org, who's goal is to become the number one website in the world for teaching languages online. Though they are in the process of building it, it is already a wealth of information, and includes downloadable audio for different words. Best of all, it is free, with no strings attached, or subscriptions/registration required.

One thing I noticed (and though I've been told this by others, it hasn't really hit home until the past few months), is that with the little bit of Latin & Spanish that I've learned, it has already helped with learning Cebuano.

Below is a short video on the Cebuano Alphabet. It gives you a good idea of what the letters, words, and phrases sound like, & is also UNFORGETTABLE!! Ugghh! LOL
